Message from Pam Handley

I was very happy to see on Sunday the Mary Sherwood display is still at the back of the
Church for everyone to study. The AMSC Board of Directors had a Zoom meeting last Monday
to plot the continuation of the two Missions in Madagascar - Akany Tafita the school
for older students learning a trade and Aknany Jamonjena the orphanage and school for little
ones.  As you may all remember it is 15 months ago that Mary Sherwood suffered a stroke
and will never be able to continue her marvellous work in Madagascar.  She is resting
comfortably in a nursing home in Lindsay close to her family.   Although Mary is no longer
in Madagascar the work of the two missions continues and it is imperative that your financial
donations continue.  These can be given directly to St. Johns who forward the monies
to the AMSC in the Sault on a quarterly basis.  If you have  any questions please call me at 705-472-2473 or email me at:  perterpamhandley@gmail.com.  And if you would like to send Mary a card here is her address:
Mary Sherwood,
Victoria Manor Long Term Care,
220 Angeline St., Lindsay,
 ON.  K9V 0J8.

Thank you very much Pam Handley, Recording Secretary, AMSC Board,

Food Shelf

The number of people availing themselves of the Food Shelf is growing as the weather gets cooler and winter approaches. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sugar, Knorr’s Sidekicks and, of course, powdered milk are on the Running Low list.

Unfortunately, only one of the area grocery stores had one of the items on sale this week. But I did notice that No Frills had tuna on special so I included it as well.
