Rev. Beth's Weekly Letter - May 31

May 30th 2020.

Dear Friends: 

We have had a glorious week…the tree buds are bursting forth, the flowers are blooming and the weeds aren’t stopping!  We have many blessings. Take a moment and ponder….what is it that you are thankful for and is that your prayer for today?

Worship: To celebrate Pentecost this Sunday the Archbishop will lead the service.  There is a Diocesan wide service at 9:30am and a provincial service at 2:30pm. 

Food Shelf:  Items needed are as follows:

  • pasta sauce (680ml jars),
  • rice
  • granola bars
  • cereal (a brand name - Cheerios, Rice Krispies or your favorite one.)

There is an ample supply of oatmeal.   Drop off between 10:00 to 11:00am on Tuesday.

Same Sex Marriage:  Do read the Archbishop’s letter on the subject.  There is a decision.  Click here.

Freedom of Forgiveness:  Have you struggled with being able to forgive someone or something – or with even being willing to do so? Does the phrase in the Lord’s Prayer “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us” give you pause?  For more information on this seven week program contact Rev.
