Rev. Beth's Weekly Letter - Sep. 16

Wednesday September 16, 2020.

Dear Friends:

On Sunday, we had our first service together at church where we devoted ourselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. (Acts 2:42)

It was wonderful to see everyone again. We had a wonderful time of prayerful worship, listening to familiar hymns – maybe even humming a bit – and all wearing masks and maintaining physical distance.  Our capacity with COVID restrictions is 50 people. On Sunday we had 49! Alleluia!

We must remain alert to the impact of COIVD-19.  In an effort to do our due diligence with this virus, if you attended church this past Sunday ( or in the future) and  are experiencing the symptoms of COVID, please let me know – 705-303-8681 or telephone Dawn at the office 705- 472-6070. Confidentiality will be respected.  At the same time, get tested.  To be tested you telephone the hospital at 705-474-8600, ext 4110 to make an appointment.  Once you have the results, let us know.

Do read the attached article from Rev. Martha Tatarnic the rector of St. George’s Anglican Church, St. Catherine’s Ontario. It is her reflections of the first day back to Church.  Write to me with your thoughts and feelings about being back in church. Without identifying the author we will post them on our web page.

Have a blessed week.

Your sister in Christ
